Founder of Novexus

Novexus was founded in 1999 by Christer Bergman, a Swedish citizen who has been living in Virginia since 1997. Bergman has worked in the Information Technology industry for more than 25 years and has held managerial and executive positions in leading Fortune 500 companies. Novexus was formed as a virtual international management consultant company and provides a network of seasoned executives working with the latest technology to provide up-to-date information and guidance to its clients.

Christer Bergman

An international executive with a proven track record in business expansion, Bergman specializes in general management, partnership building, and creating a customer-oriented corporate culture. Since 1989, Bergman has held positions as Managing Director, President, and CEO in both public and private companies in Sweden and the United States in the Information Technology and Security Industry.
Since 2000, Mr. Bergman has been a well-known business leader in the Security and Biometrics industry and has been involved in numerous speaking engagements before industry groups as well as the Congress. He serves on the Board of Directors for the International Biometrics & Identification Association as well as on the EAB Advisory Council for the European Association for Biometrics. He is also engaged with four companies in a Board of Directors / Supervisory Board position. The focus of his services is within the Biometrics and Security industry as well as business development and business expansion for non-US-based companies into the US marketplace.

Mr. Bergman was the President of Precise Biometrics, Inc., between 2000 and 2006, and President and CEO of Precise Biometrics, AB, between 2001 and 2006. He also served as a Member of the Precise Biometrics Board of Directors between 2005 until 2007. Mr. Bergman recently held the position of Vice President of Biometric Solutions, Fujitsu Frontech North America, where he was charged with leading the market development of the PalmSecure technology and growing the product offerings into a larger biometric solutions business.

For more than 25 years, Mr. Bergman has held numerous executive positions in the high tech industries in the US and Europe and earned a Master of Science Degree from the Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden, as well as from the University of California, Berkeley.

The company’s target market is Information Technology, specifically the Identity Management sector, which encompasses biometrics and smart cards.
